After walking through a cluster of flag-dancing Chinese housewives, I stumbled into three Michelin-starred chef Martin Berasategui’s latest creation. Nestled on the Hengshan Road side of Xujiahui Park, Restaurant Martin has taken up residence in a historic villa that originally housed the headquarters of EMI in 1921.
Carmen is picturesque; the simple style makes guests feel at home. The guitarists or weekend jazz bands bring this tapas villa to life, a perfect spot to eat, drink and be merry.
Carlos Chordi, recently opened Carmen, a quaint Spanish tapas bar and restaurant. Located right across the street from his luncheonette Bocata, you can find this lively eatery in the Nali mini-mall next to the 3.3 shopping center.
Situated in of Shanghai’s northern Zhabei district, the Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Daning hotel forms the center of a clean, modern hub, surrounded by a multitude of restaurants and shops.
