Shandong Lao Jia is a welcome break from the plastic chairs, incompetent waiters, and confusing menus that are a dime a dozen in this fine city. One of the only classy Chinese restaurants in town that won't break the bank, Shandong Lao Jia is decked out with floor-to-ceiling windows, bright yellow tablecloths, and a sparkling Lazy Susan just begging to be spun. Incredibly popular with local Chinese, the frenzied, but amiable wait staff serves up authentic food in a bustling environment, and more importantly, a complete picture menu.
