On this particular visit, I was treated to a casual and relaxing dinner at the Butterfly Laguna Restaurant. With its interior of off-white painted brick and matching wooden framework, I could see that this was a place for people to simply enjoy the time spent with friends as they took a little break from the power-shopping experience of walking up and down Hangzhou's bustling Nan Shan Road. With a host of bars, clubs, and seemingly endless shopping, this street wraps around the west side of the lake, and promises to tire out even the most resilient of shoppers.

What better way (gastronomically speaking) to spend your Sunday, you may wonder, than by enjoying a leisurely brunch at Red Orange restaurant. Our BFIC team visited the Crowne Plaza Sun Palace in Beijing recently to investigate.
Every Sunday between 11:30am and 15:00pm, the granite worktops in Red Orange restaurant are loaded with everything from meatballs and sashimi to chicken korma and cheesecake as part of the hotel's 198 RMB "3F Sunday Bruncher". The 3F apparently refers to three tag words: friends, fresh and fun.
