The restaurant opened in November 2007. The Manager, a successful businessman, started his restaurant as a business club where Chinese businesses, CEO’s, and foreign diplomats could come together to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the club and its fabulous teas and food.
Spicy marinated eggplant densely shaped in a rectangular block and topped with a trio of individual appetizers: fresh scallop garnished with diced mango bites; asparagus and pork wrapped in a crispy-thin wafer-like shell; and a cube of Australian wagu beef.
Eating at a Korean barbeque restaurant is always a lot of fun. At this restaurant you can have either one. Each table has a ventilated hood over a cavity in the middle where briquettes are placed and covered by a grill. Diners order raw entrees, vegetables and various side dishes called Banchan and get to cook them right at their own table.
Away from the hustle and noise of the more well know restaurant rows of the city lies Thai Thai Restaurant delightfully resting among trees and opens spaces of the Lido area. The modern and sleek design of the building mixed with heavy accents of natural materials is inviting and immediately takes you into a new relaxing world.
Upon the arrival in this restaurant, we were immediately charmed by the beautiful building, a former staple house, dated beginning of the 20th century. On the ground floor you will find this new Portuguese restaurant, called NUVEM. When entering the restaurant, your attention will be drawn to nice looking typical Portuguese hams displayed in the middle of the room.
