Elegant, cozy and wilh modern decor, this dining spot iS a great escape from the heavy traffic beyond the glass wall.
This venue is notable for its potpourri of dishes from Mexican beefcake to Italian dessert, American steaks to Thai sweet and sour sauce. The place may not have a distinctive culinary theme, but it is a good choice for those who want good food and are not hung up on regional prejudices. The black pepper in the starter Mexican beefcake may not be authentic Mexican, but it does enhance the flavor. The soup is a bit watery, not as creamy as it should be. With a dash of rosemary, grilled lamb rack with herbs is easy to please if the preparation is right. Those who have a sweet tooth can try the home-made tiramisu or cheesecake. Under the warm winter sun, with a cup of tea or coffee, it
is a nice place to give yourself a break from the daily hustle and bustle.
Quite an impressive list with a good choice of wines. As the corkage for wine is reasonable (RMB 100), bringing your own wine is a good option.
