The restaurant enjoys a location that is both leafy and serene and comes complete with an appealing water feature - blessing it with a unique vista regardless of season. It's rare to stumble upon such a romantic dining environment in the city centre.
The cooks here have a particular insight into selecting and cooking exactly the right material. Caesar salad, for instance, an appetizer familiar to niany of us, is made here in a distinctly delicious Italian style. The rose tea bittem duck chest is also highly recommended. The duck chest is tender and fresh with the key to its success being the addition of rosemary tea to the bittern water to make it both fragrant and refreshing. It is important for any chef to showcase his skills in his chosen soup of the day and Colours' chef certainly doesn't disappoint - the thick carrot soup has a golden colour and an elegant appearance. It tastes pure, fresh and has a pleasantly lingefing aftertaste. On the dessert front, the warm chocolate cake accompanied by chocolate ice-cream will impress even the most discerning of diners.
There's a wide variety of cocktails, aperitifs, coffees, teas and soft drinks available - enough to sarisfy any thirsty diner's needs.
The waiters are very knowledgeable with regards to the menu. Their
consideration extends to adjusting the angle of the sun shade for outdoor diners, and hurning a mosquito coil beside customers' feet when appropriate.
