The Sunflower Court serves a large buffet consisting of 9 hot selections, a daily pizza, 5 meats grilled to order, a sushi bar, a salad bar, 6 Western and 3 Chinese cold dishes, two soups, hors douvres, a fruit bar; and a massive desert selection of 3 kinds of cake, 4 kinds of ice cream, crepes, and 12 different finger dishes. The cuisine style is a mixture of Chinese, Japanese, and Western, so there is something for everyone.

Diversity of selection is not the only draw to the Sunflower Court. The quality of the food is exceptional and perhaps the freshest that you can find anywhere and befitting of an upscale establishment. Among the dishes were some notable items. While small, the tomato stuffed with tuna and a garlic sauce is enough to cause you to return immediately for seconds. Firm, fresh tomatoes, with a perfectly textured tuna can be a great and healthy way to start a meal. The sushi bar sported a wide selection of different fish and shelled creatures such as clams, oysters, shrimp, and crab. The seafood here is fresh and leaves one wondering how long ago is was taken from the water. The soup tastes as though it was made from scratch by a world famous chef. The Cream of Mushroom soup, with just the right consistency and nice chunks of mushrooms, was a treat. In the hot dish section you can find many entrées. The fish fillet can become the center piece of any dinner. This boneless fillet is cooked perfectly and with all of the flavor and juices ready to jump out and satisfy you. There are also Chinese main dishes, one noteworthy one was the beautifully prepared chicken stir fry. Beating the quality of many restaurants, this dish will appeal to all. The grill section supports 5 different types of meat. The meat is marinated and grilled to order, just make sure you are specific with the cook, otherwise your meat will be extremely rare. End your meal with a world class dessert and you will have achieved as close to a perfect meal as possible.

The atmosphere at the Sunflower court is relaxing and peaceful, reminiscent of a 5 star restaurant. During dinner you may be able to enjoy soothing live music from a pianist or a flutist. The staff is friendly, prompt, and speak English so you needn’t worry about any problems. For 168 rmb, the Sunflower Court will satisfy everyone.
